5 Reasons to Use a Peelable Paint Booth Coating

Keeping your spray booth clean is a difficult, messy and time-consuming task. So much so that most paint shops give in to the battle and let the overspray build-up. But there is a simple solution to keeping your booth in `like-new` condition - use a peelable paint booth coating. It will give you a superior paint finish for your clients and cut down on labour time in the long-term.

How Does A Peelable SprayBooth Coating Work?

A peelable spray booth coating is a liquid spray-on treatment that dries to form a protective film. You apply it to clean booth walls and floors with a spray gun, brush or roller. After leaving it to dry for 2-3 hours, the booth is ready to use. When paint builds up, add another layer of protective coating. You can do this up to 10 times before peeling the film off and starting again. Use the system in conjunction with clear peelable film to protect booth windows and lights.

Check out the short video below to find out how easy it is to use peelable protective coatings.

Why use a peelable paint booth coating?

  1. Your paint finishes will be better

When overspray builds up on your booth walls, the paint dust becomes airborne and will contaminate your paint job.

  1. You will save on labour costs and production time

Scrubbing booth walls by hand is time-consuming and slows down production time. Instead, grab you spray gun, apply the coating and peel it off after 10 applications.

  1. It improves visibility

Recoating with peelable spray allows you to maintain white booth walls, giving the best visibility for gauging the quality of a coloured spray job.

  1. It makes your bacterial deep clean easier

It's best practice to build a routine deep clean protocol into your maintenance schedule to help keep your booth in top condition. With a peelable coating system, your deep clean becomes much faster and easier.

If you're concerned about bacteria and maintaining booth safety. Using a peelable coating means you can completely clear the top layer of bacteria from your booth effectively sterilising it and allowing you to rinse and repeat with a new peelable booth coating...ready to go.

  1. It's durable

Unlike other protective systems, peelable floor coatings are strong enough to withstand forklift traffic.
