Hardtop Flexi

Jotun Hardtop Flexi is a chemically curing aliphatic acrylic polyurethane coating suitable for use as a topcoat in atmospheric conditions. In marine environments, this product is recommended for container deck, superstructure and topside applications. It’s also suitable for refineries, offshore environments, bridges, buildings and power plants. If you work in any of these settings, it’s also worthwhile noting that Jotun Hardtop Flexi can be used on a wide selection of industrial structures too.

Features of the Jotun Hardtop Flexi - 5 litre for sale

A two component, high solid, compliant, flexible polyurethane coating with good gloss and colour retention.

Hardtop Flexi can be used as a single coat system in atmospheric corrosivity classes C2 and C3. Can also be used as a
topcoat in classes C2 - C4 and C5-I and C5-M on various primers and as maintenance coating on old paint surfaces.
Hardtop Flexi has a good impact resistance and painted objects can be stacked after short drying time.
The product have built in good corrosion protection and is also suitable as a single product system for maintenance
application when both corrosion protection and topcoat performance are desired.

With Low VOCs, application of single coats up to 150 microns and fast drying add to the special features of Hardtop Flexi. This is one of the few products that contain anti-corrosive pigments for the best direct to metal performance.

NORSOK pre-qualification- Hardtop Flexi is pre-qualified in several NORSOK coating systems no. 1.

Hardtop Flexi is also suitable for concrete, GRP, wood and when applied above water.

What to consider before purchasing Juton Hardtop Flexi

Hardtop Flexi is resistant to spills of aliphatic petroleum products, most oils and chemicals that are non-aggressive. Here at Ultrimax Store, we recommend storing this aliphatic acrylic polyurethane solution in accordance with the national regulations. This includes storing the containers and pots in a cool, dry and well ventilated area while ensuring the lid is kept tightly shut. We also advise users to keep Jotun Hardtop Flexi away from sources of ignition and heat.

Note: Hardtop Flexi should be handled with care by professional applicators. You must avoid skin contact and use a suitable cleanser (or soap and water) if skin contact does occur. Flush your eyes with water if the spray mist comes into direct contact with your face.

Technical Detail

Application of Jotun Hardtop Flexi

Ideal for direct application to stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and galvanised steel, the Jotun Hardtop Flexi available from Ultrimax Store offers excellent flexibility and impact resistance.

The product can be applied using a roller, brush, high pressure airless spray or a conventional air spray. The number of recommended coats is two, with an approximate drying time of three hours and a curing time of seven days. Hardtop Flexi is also recommended for its impressive water resistance, and good abrasion, solvent and chemical resistance.
