Can Ultrimax 1 be used as both a primer and a topcoat?

Yes, Ultrimax 1 is a high-build acrylic-based product that serves as both a primer and topcoat in one. It provides excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance, saving time and effort by eliminating the need for separate primer and topcoat layers.

Can I use Ultrimax coatings on existing metal structures that have been previously painted?

Ultrimax coatings can be used to refinish or recoat previously painted metal surfaces. Make sure to properly prepare the surface by cleaning, sanding, and removing any loose or flaking paint before applying our products to ensure excellent adhesion.

Can coatings be applied in cold weather or during winter?

While cold weather can slow the drying process, Ultrimax coatings can be applied in cooler temperatures. However, for best results, we recommend applying coatings in temperatures above 5°C and avoiding extremes that could affect the curing process. Ensure to check datasheets.
