RECOMMENDED USE

Nitrosynthetic enamel is a very rapid air drying high gloss coating which is very easy to apply by spray. It can polished to remove surface imperfections and is capable of producing an automotive quality of finish. It is used a little in these sectors, when a high gloss, rapid drying hard wearing finish is required.

Composition Based on nitrocellulose modified with alkyd resin and plasticiser and pigmented with suitably selected pigments

Volume solids: 32% (for black)

Weight solids: 41% (for black)

VOC content: 580 gm/litre

Supply viscosity: 6.0 poise at 20°C

Typical film thickness: 80 microns wet and 25 microns dry

Theoretical coverage: 12.5 sq. metres/litre at 80 microns wet film thickness

Dry heat resistance: 50°C Flash Point: Below 21°C
