The Tuffalo hard floor protection film ensures the preservation of surfaces during construction and maintenance. Hard surface protection film is ideal for protecting hardwood flooring, worktops and hard surface areas with a medium traffic of foot fall. Whether you are painting the surrounding area or conducting maintenance work it is important to keep surfaces clean and free from dirt and dust.
The specially formulated acrylic adhesive of the Tuffalo surface protection film roll sticks directly to surfaces and is a superior alternative to dust sheets and cardboard. The film is applied from a self adhesive roll allowing you to affix the film to large areas with ease. With a thickness of 50 microns you can rest assured that areas will be protected from dirt, paint and light maintenance debris without leaving any residue behind when removed. The Tuffalo floor protection film has a high standard of performance for both interior and exterior surfaces and can be applied to the construction, rail, marine and aerospace industry.
Many industries use cardboard and thin polyethylene sheeting, however the quality and performance of these products don’t provide the necessary protection in comparison to Tuffalo. The Tuffalo hard surface protection film is a durable solution to protecting hard surfaces and floors from light maintenance debris and can withstand medium levels of footfall.
The self-adhesive reverse wound (adhesive side is outermost) rolls make for an easy application and the low tack backing means that removing the hard floor protection film is easy, quick and clean. Only one person is needed to temporarily cover large areas with this effective protection system.
This floor protection film can be recycled or repurposed allowing you to be sustainable during any project. It is advised that any self-adhesive plastic floor covering is left down for a maximum of 4 weeks before being replaced if needed. It is recommended to test the product on a small area of the floor surface before applying.
