AZ97 is a single-pack water based exterior paint topcoat suitable for hardwoods & softwoods exposed to the outdoor environment such as windows, doors, conservatories and other joinery applications. It is available in 30 & 60% gloss levels and is tintable to any colour required (add to basket and then add your colour in the notes box which will popup). The products exhibits good thixothropy and can be built or applied vertically in thick coats (max. 300g/m2 wet) with no dripping problems, making the product ideal for exterior paint applications such as cladding.
The special chemical makeup of AZ97 makes this topcoat very wear resitant to UV light and therefore highly durable for external use.
Application devices should be washed with water immediately after use. Cleaning of dry films of coating from the equipment can be done using XA4060, leaving in contact for 6-12 hour, then rinse with water.
AZ97 is an exterior paint where a very high quality paint finish can be acheieved. To ensure the best possible surface adhesion we recommend the following process.

x1/2 Coats of AZ97 Exterior paint topcoat
Cut ends use End Sealeror V-joint sealer.
AZ97 is a professional water based exterior paint topcoat ideal for exterior windows, doors and conservatories. The high vertical build achievable with AZ97 also means other joinery applications such as cladding, and taller structures can be painted to a high finish. Will cope in the more harsh exterior environment while providing safety to operators being a water based exterior paint. Team the AZ97 with our suggested AML3519 primer to creta a top level finish. AZ97 can be tinted at order point to any exterior wood paint colours required. It's essential in the external joinery environment that when you cut timber to ensure you end seal and v-joint seal your timber to protect from water ingress or your outside wood paint will fail.
