Why Use Jotamastic 90

This is a two-component polyamine cured epoxy mastic coating. It is a surface tolerant, abrasion-resistant, high solids, high build product. It is an aluminium pigmented product. Specially designed for areas where optimum surface preparation is not possible or desired.

Provides long-lasting protection in environments with high corrosivity. Can be used as a primer, mid coat, finish coat or as single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, aluminium, concrete and a range of aged coating surfaces.

It can be applied at sub-zero surface temperatures. Small colour variations may occur when changing between the two curing agents.

Application of Jotamastic 90 Alu B15

Due to the high surface tolerance of Jotamastic 90 Alu B15, it can be applied onto very poorly prepared surfaces. This means that where other coatings will fail and not adhere properly to the surface, Jotamastic 90 can be applied and it will still provide very good protection.

If applying the jotamastic 90 Alu B15 by spray application, use an airless spray system. Brush and roller can be used but take care to achieve the correct film thickness. It isn't recommended to use a roller when applying the first primer coat.
