Ultrimax Gloss is a highly-versatile topcoat metal gloss paint that can be used on a variety of plant equipment, machinery and steel products. Not only does it offer a high gloss finish, it also dries in record time – meaning you can tick one job off the list sooner.Alkyd topcoat.

Available in a full choice of RAL or British Standard colours, each with excellent gloss retention and resistance to corrosion. Perfect for spray painters who require a high end gloss finish using a 1K paint for ease of application.

Very stable and reliable paint tried and tested over many years and used by top construction brands.

  • Perfect for plant and machinery painting, construction or steel fabrication.
  • Mixed in-house to any RAL and British Standard colour. Order before 2pm for next day delivery
  • Ideal for a glossy 80%+ finish on sheet metal, tools, gates and railings, and general steel fabrications.
  • Use with Ultriprime primer paint for best gloss results, can be applied without a primer.
  • Surface dries in 30 minutes and to handle in 60-80 minutes (hard dry in 6-8 hours).
  • Anti-Corrosive resistant.

Mixed in-House at our UK facility making this paint available for next day delivery if ordered before 2pm

Available in 5 litre tins or 20 litres with Ring and Latch closers for safe transport and easy opening

Thinner - Use Xylene thinners due to its purity. 20% Max Thinner Ratio.

Gloss Level - Generally provided in High Gloss 80%+ Gloss Level . However other gloss levels can be provided on request. Contact us or at web order point place in NOTES your required gloss level.

Composition - Alkyd Formula

Anti-Corrosive Zinc Phosphate properties in the formula - The product is characterised by high resistance if exposed to weathering and good anti-corrosive power.

Two coats required for optimum finish - primer and topcoat product. Use Ultriprime as a primer.

Ideal Tip Size To Use - 0.015-0.019 tip sizes depending on angle required

Ideal Spray Paint Pump to Use - compatible with a full range

Application - Brush, Spray or Roller

Colours Can Be tined to a full range of RAL Colours, British Standard Colours and Fleet & Machinery Colours

Drying Times - Surface Dry 30minutes / Hard Cure 6-8 hours

Dry and Wet Film Thickness - Dry 40 microns / Wet 85 microns

Theoretical coverage rate - 13m2 per litre
