Supporting Apprentices To Develop Their Potential

Ultrimax believe in investing in young people – helping them to earn while they learn, and progress in their career to achieve their ambitions!

We’re delighted to announce we have taken on 2 new apprentices in the last month – James Mattocks and Michael Le Bretton – helping them gain a meaningful experience in the workplace, and in return, we are gaining from their enthusiasm, engagement and qualifications in the workforce.

The key tasks they are undertaking and skills we are teaching them, include: moving and handling goods of different shapes and sizes, paint mixing and production, operating specialist machinery, managing stock, wrapping and packing goods, processing orders and returned orders, managing the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, keeping equipment in good working order, and maintaining work area and hygiene standards.

As Ultrimax are ISO 9001 certified, a core part of their training programme includes health & safety, and how to comply to legal requirements, as well as the importance of good team work in a busy environment.

Everyone at Ultrimax welcomes Michael and James, wishing them every success in their apprenticeships, and look forward to them joining the Warehouse & Production Teams in the coming months.
