If you’re in the paint spraying or powder coating space, you know how vital ventilation and filtration is as a mechanism for the removal of lingering contaminants in the air, that are the by-product of this kind of industrial work. Fortunately, the filtration systems that can now be integrated into our spraying and coating booths have progressed in leaps and bounds. This is especially so when it comes to both design and aesthetic, and when considering the sheer degree of atmospheric contaminant and particulates these machines are now able to remove from the air.
And case in point when it comes to the levels of efficacy a modern filtration system can give a spray booth or coating unit, are reverse jet cartridge booths. They’re a necessity for the workspace, because these filters make the area safe for you and your workers, at all times.
Read on to find out more.
Reverse jet cartridge booths are particulate extraction systems that use reverse jetting to clean the filter cartridges. This type of booth is typically used in environments where there is a lot of overspray, or harsh particles being released into the air.
The reverse jet filter is designed to collect paint particulate after dry powder coating. The jet mechanism fires a reverse thrust of air back through the spray booth filter to dislodge stuck particulate and drop it into the waiting hopper below ready for waste disposal.
Note: This spray booth is not for wet paint spraying but is ideal for powder coating.
There are a few things to consider when purchasing a reverse jet cartridge booth:
Ultrimax is your go-to supplier of reverse jet cartridge booths that suit your business need, and specific project requirement.
