J Tape Orange 150°C/302°F Fine Line Low Tack Masking Tape

J Tape Orange Fine Line is a precision low tack masking tape for interior and exterior applications. Thinner and more transluscent than standard tapes makes it easy to see through to paintwork.

This tape has medium flex to allow you to successfully bend and maneuvre into shapes or for straight / curved scenarios.

Manufactured from rice crepe masking tape with a custom acrylic-based adhesive to allow control and sticking power without leaving any residue on removal. Temperature resistant up to 150°C/302°F

It adheres to a wide range of surfaces and is ideal for use in customising work.

Reliable Adhesion

This tape is extremely advanced in terms of adhesion, ideal for precision critical edge paint performance jobs where on removal a straight and fine line is required with no paint edge burring or bleeding that may ruin the finish.

The ultra thin rice paper backing produces very low paint edges, yet it’s strong enough via advanced adhesion technology to pull through layers of topcoat or clear coat. It also offers clean, residue-free removal even when exposed to temperatures up to 130°C/266°F for up to 30 mins and can be exposed outside for up to 14 days.

J Tape Orange Fine Line is often used in industrial scenarios such as coach building and coach work in the trailer, plant and machinery or rail stock refurbishment sectors. Can be used in component customising such as helmets, joinery and cabinetry, aerospace or auto finishing to good effect.

For weather resistant tapes you would need a water-resistant PVC tape which can resist water in most wet-weather conditions.Can be left exposed outdoors for a maximum of 14 days.
