Ultrimax Spray Booth Ceiling Filter - 1mx20m

Ceiling inlet filters

If your spray booth uses a down-draft system, with the airflow from ceiling to floor, you need a ceiling inlet filter. These filters need changing less frequently than filters designed for a cross-draft booth.

TA600 inlet filters are manufactured from thermal bonded polyester fibre for fine filtration in air conditioning devices and spraybooths, and is supplied as a 1m x 20M roll. Other sized rolls and pre cut panels are available to order.
Features a backing scrim to add support the filter when in place. Features a special adhesive applied to the polyester fibres to hold on to particales and prevent them falling loose due to vibration. Maximum dust holding per m² is 290 gram.

Guaranteed worker safety

To ensure a spray booth is operating to its maximum ability, the spray booth environment must be properly sealed. An air system will create the optimum airflow for a booth but this airflow must be properly filtered to protect the quality of items painted in the spray booth and the booth workers. A spray booth ceiling filter effectively filters the air to prevent harmful chemicals and particles being breathed in by individuals both inside and outside the booth. This creates a safe work environment for workers and reduces any major health and safety risks.

Filter maintenance

A spray booth filter must be changed regularly to maintain high-quality standards within the spray booth. The recommended replacement time of a spray booth can vary, depending on the how busy and frequently the spray booth is used, but in general, panel spray booth filters should be changed within two to five months of installation and ceiling filters less frequently only every six to twelve months. However, these are just rough guides and it is up to the person responsible to ensure that the filters are being changed often enough.
