Aquimax 1 is a fast drying, water based primer finish that offers a superior anti-corrosive coating. If you’re looking for an industrial primer with great durability, Aquimax 1 is the perfect choice.
Aquimax 1 can easily be applied directly to metal surfaces and has zinc phosphate pigments to protect against rust. This primer can be used for a range of metal applications, including skips and shipping containers.
It’s also recommended for use on decorative steel, sheet metal and many other substrates. To get the most from Aquimax 1, surfaces should be free from oil, dirt, rust, grease and any other contaminates before use.
Where protection against rust is important, Aquimax 1 primer is a great choice. It contains flash rust inhibitor, and is based on high solids styrene acrylic emulsions and zinc phosphate anti-corrosion pigments, making it unbeatable it the battle against rust.
Touch dry in 12 minutes, and hard dry in 24 hours, Aquimax 1 is fast drying and will help to speed up project turnaround times. To further reduce drying times, use ambient airflow across your coated article. After 24 hours, you’re ready to apply your over coat.
Aquimax 1 is available in a wide range of colours. We can colour-match to an existing sample if required, to ensure your primer is perfectly tailored to your requirements. Aquimax 1 comes in either 5 or 20 litre packs.
